My name is Sonya, but you can call me mowie. From the beginning, I always knew I had a special connection with the Higher Being, Spirit Guides, Guardian Angels or whatever you wish to call them. At age 7, I instinctively knew what I wanted in life and even scribbled these in a little book which became my core testament. My dad is also active in his studies of spiritualism, religion, the Buddha, Jesus and extra terrestrial beings and has made a deep impact on how I see life.

When I was 13, I attended a Buddhist boarding school in Northern California which preached meditation, mantras and the Dharma. It was called the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas. I can't say I enjoyed my experience there, but it was a crucial and painful experience to my spiritual development.

At boarding school, I would often wander off into isolated areas of the campus and pretend to be Snow White. I thought that squirrels, butterflies and all sorts of animals would come and be my friends. But instead of that, I realized that I could communicate with nature and I learned from them lessons of courage and character.

Fast forward 10 years and here I am today in Los Angeles. I am recently separated and in transition. My spirit guides have been steadfast in my growth and have guided me to take my life path to the next level. Though difficult, I trust in their judgement and guidance. I am a Graphic Web Designer and a spiritual, animal activist.

In 1999, I met a girl named Kelly at a local animal rescue group, and also met her friend, Laila who is a successful animal communicator and energy healer. With two friends in hand, we successfully launched our own non-profit animal rescue group called Sante D'Or Foundation which specialises in natural and holistic care for homeless, sick and disabled animals. It was at that time that we all realized that we were directed by Spirit to create this organization to serve the public.

On a completely different note, I found out I am a healer! How neat is that? As I drove home one day, I felt large amounts of heat emanating onto my thigh near the steering wheel. I fiddled with the heat settings in my car, but found that it wasn't even ON! After poking around, I realized the heat and burning sensation was emanating from my hand. I also began to experience quick fevers that would last 5-10 minutes. I confused this will illness at that time and would go home sick. After a visit to my local psychic (not a doctor!! he he), I discovered that I was channeling energy through my body. Wow, I was to be a healer!

From there, I began to communicate with “Soul” and also learned various techniques of healing. My body served as a tool for healing, as Soul would gently guide me to heal certain areas of the body. At times, I would see visions or smell fragrance. My most memorable experience was seeing the vision of a winged angel glowing with radiant love and harmony. This angel was my co-workers daughter (very much alive), but also a messenger. I could not help but collapse and cry because I had never experienced so much pure love in my life.

Coincidentally, I became friends with Shirley from Shirleys Wellness Cafe and became a student of natural healing through herbs and supplements.

To date, I have dabbled and studied natural herbs, homeopathy, crystals, pendulums and various forms of energy healing such as Reiki, Pranic Healing and most importantly, I began to develop my own style of healing which I like to call Universal Energy. I have interests in Edgar Cayce, Extra Terrestrials or Aliens, Spirit Guides, Ghosts, Angeles and the Universe. My Soul's path is Responsibility, and my Goal is to help the public. I grew up believing that I preferred to be poor and happy, than rich and miserable. I live a modest life in Los Angeles, but also dream of hitting the jackpot one day. (Spirit, I'm counting on you!!)
